Teresa Wentzler's Fall Carousel Horse

Embarassed to say this is from November 2005--and I'm still working on it! But it'll be done. Really.

Madonna of the Garden Finished!

Well, I finished it two weeks before my deadline. It's out of the frame, which explains why it is so wrinkled, along with the fact that I had to use a hoop for the beading. The breads really do add to it!

If I ever get it framed, I will have to post it.

Madonna of the Garden finished!

I was able to complete this at the end of May, two weeks before my deadline. I had to do the tail end of the beading by using a hoop, which explains the marks in the fabric. It's also more wrinkled looking than the other pictures because it is off the frame. When I eventually get it framed, I will post it here.

The beading really does add a lot to it.

MoTG Update

Madonna of the Garden with some of the beading done. The beading is going much quicker than the cross-stitch, especially now that I have the correct needles!

MoG, April

I missed my March goal by one day, finished the cloak on April 1st. I've more than made up for it since then, though! In the past week I've managed to do mostof the leaves on the bottom and a good portion of the border at the bottom. Posted by Picasa

Madonna of the Garden WIP

As of 3/3/07. My goal is to finish the dress by the end of the Month, then spend April and May on the remainder of the stiching. June is for the beading. If I keep this schedule, I will be done by the one year mark!

I am tired of the dark blue (in between the arm and the body). If you look down at The Quiltmaker, the mother's entire dress is that color. So, I'm sick of it!

Madonna of the Garden Update

As of noon this afternoon. I hope to make my goal of finishing in early June. Once I have the veil finished, I just have the background and beading to complete. Posted by Picasa
